PSI is a closely held private corporation, established in 1959, located in a 56,000 sq.ft. facility constructed in 1990 on an 8.5 acre light industrial site in Medina, OH, USA.  PSI manufactures the largest variety of sizes and gauges drums available for use by more than 2000 clients worldwide.  An expert in all types of drums manufactured, PSI produces metal barrels, drums, and pails, in carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum and titanium in capacities from 5 to 175 gallons, in 105 stock drum diameters.  Drums are UN approved, with testing & certifications.  Types of drums produced include salvage and overpack, all types and sizes of military style drums, stainless steel containers for use by the pharmaceutical, beverage and wine industries, and containers for shipping, containment and storage hazardous waste, including radioactive materials.  All corporate activities are directed by Robert P. Syme, President. 

PSI's specialized containers can be found throughout the world, from storing nuclear warheads in Russia, to chemicals in China. 

PSI's Mil-Spec Drums are known for their severe duty and custom configurations. PSI has been manufacturing Overpack Salvage Drums since the early 60's; they are tested and true.  PSI's Stainless Steel Drums are noted for their low maintenance finish. Stainless steel withstands harsh environments and provides the customer the best value in long term reusable containers. PSI's Stainless Steel drums are used to process, ship, and store Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Fragrances, Beverages, Flavors, and Alcohols.
